A simple menu along the left side of the screen will navigate you to one of the screens.

The Main Screen is used to scan your barcodes.

The Items Screen is used to manage the details associated with each barcode. Items can be added, edited and deleted.

The Totals Screen manages the number of times each barcode is scanned. The Expected number of Items can be set on this screen.

The Import Screen allows you to import Item data from either text files or Excel documents. This is an excellent way to get information from your current Financial software.

Main Screen
The Main Screen of Count Everything is used to scan barcodes. Barcodes are scanned into the blue text box. Information associated with that barcode is looked up and placed in the description and comments boxes. As each barcode is scanned you have two choices:
1) You can type in different quantities and then hit the "Add Quantity" button
-or-
2) You can use the AutoCount feature to automatically count barcodes..
Any barcode not seen before is automatically added to the database.
A running log at the bottom of the screen details your progress.
Items Screen
The Items screen keeps track of all the details stored with your barcode. Each barcode can have information entered in the Description and Comments fields. This information can include serial numbers, status or condition, warranty information, repair information, etc...
Items can be added deleted and modifed using the items menu.
Totals Screen
The Totals Screen is used to manage the Quantities stored for every barcode number. The expected amount of stock can be set using this screen. One of the reports provides discrepancies between the number of items scanned and th e number of items expected.
Reports Screen
The Reports Screen provides a set of prepared reports. These reports can be generated into Microsoft Excel or into Notepad. These reports can provide you with:
1) A listing of all of the Items along with their descriptions and comments
2) All of the Items along with their descriptions, quantities and expected stock levels
3) A listing of all Items where the scanned quantity differs from the expected count.
Import Screen
The Import Screen is used to bring information into the Count Everything data base. This is quite useful when you have your item information in another software package such as financial software. Data can be imported using text files or using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Count Everything can import barcodes, descriptions, comments, quantities and inventory level data.
